This association of Rane community was formed in Mumbai on 12th October 1986 on the occasion of Vijayadashami day,
Since 1996, Sahayog has been celebrating Maghi Ganesh Jayanti festival in Durgadevi temple complex on grand scale, which becomes annual gatherings of extended Rane community from Baparde Panchkroshi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg, Devgad.
In the year 2013-14, under the leadership of Shri Amrutrao Rane, carried out a grand renovation of three temples of Shri Rameshwar, Shri Durga Devi, Shri Purva Talkhamba.
Gradually the Mandal has expanded its scope, and has donated large sums to Yashwantrao Rane High School through Rane community members. The founder-guide Dr. Suhas Rane has helped in arranging following donations to various organizations.
- Baparde Primary School – Rs. 1 lakh
- Mond High School – Rs. 4 lakhs
- Devgad College – Rs. 10 lakhs
- Pavanadevi High School – Rs.50 lakhs.
(Apart from this, he has personally donated Rs. 25 lakhs for the proposed multi-purpose hall for Pavanadevi High School).
