Dear Readers – 

Ours is an educational charitable trust registered with the Charity Commissioner (Govt. of Maharashtra). We are committed to provide quality education and opportunities FREE of cost, to underprivileged children, in a remote Konkan village approx. 500 Kms away from Mumbai, since 2012

We have been running a FREE secondary school (Std. 6 to Jr College -Science & Commerce) exclusively for the benefit of some 120 village kids, (who would have otherwise miss such opportunity). Since, no new school in Maharashtra gets any financial aid from the state govt, we bear all expenses (to the tune of around Rs. 20 L/yr.) either ourselves, or through kind donors and corporate CSR funding, to keep running this school.  

Appreciating our genuine efforts of the past 10-12 Yrs., Mrs. Sudha Murty, and a few more kind-hearted donors, have been partly supporting us, mainly to build the infrastructural facilities. Despite their help, the shortfall is too wide to meet the day-to-day expenses of our Yashwantrao Rane High School. We therefore earnestly appeal to you to support our noble cause. Your participation would greatly impact the lives of these deserving children, empowering them to break the poverty cycle through education. 

You may like to look into any of the following possible ways to support our mission:

1. Financial Donation: A sum can be contributed for the construction of infrastructure (press here for details); AND/ OR towards meeting educational resources, scholarships, and infrastructure improvements (press here for bank details). 
2. Sponsoring student(s) : For each student, we incur around Rs. 10000 expenses per year. However, one can partly finance his /her study expenses (Rs. 3000 for Std. 6th- 9th, Thereafter Rs. 5000 per student of Std. 10th(SSC), 11th & 12th. Depending upon your choice, we will provide you the name and family details of such needy students. This way, you may provide educational support to underprivileged children. 3. Non-Cash Donations: You may donate for educational materials/ products / services needed to run our administrative expenses. (press here for details).
