Since our old primary school was to complete 100 years in 2008, an idea was evolved tocelebrate its centenary year. Accordingly various Committees were formed as below. It was also decided to publish a souvenir named “Shat-Purti” on this occasion.

In order to plan this centenary celebration, Naik-Dhure Vikas Mandal organized a preparatory meeting of the entire Baparde village at Shirodkar High School, Parel. Around 140 Mumbaikars attended this first Mumbai meeting of October 2, 2008 (Gandhi Jayati).
