Second Get-Together of Mumbaikars was organized on 6th Nov. 2016, by Baparde-Juveshwar Gram Vikas Mandal, again at Sahitya Sangh Mandir, Girgaon. On this occasion, a drama competition was organized to encourage village youths. Accordingly, youngster from Ranewadi, Dhurewadi, Ghadiwadi participated and performed as professional actors. Out of the ticket sales of the event, Rs 1.55 L surplus was generated and handed over to Yashwant Rane Madhyamik Vidyalaya.
Eminent doctors and surgeons from Jaslok Hospital blessed this occasion. Appreciating our work they spontaneously declared there donations for our school. Dr. Suresh Joshi (Rs. 5 L), Dr. Shekhar Bhojraj & Dr. Shilpa Bhojraj (Rs. 3,21,000) and Dr. Ali-Asghar Bahrainwala (Rs. 1,11,000). Subsequently, this doctor team also visited our school and village.
A souvenir was once again published on this occasion.
