Baparde village is about 450 km away from Mumbai and can be reached by Konkan Railway or Mumbai-Goa highway.
To reach by train from Mumbai, get down at any of the two railway stations, Vaibhavwadi or Kankavali. You can reach our village by car or rickshaw at a distance of 40-45 km from there. (one and a half hours away). RATC provides a pick up or drop facility from there if you inform us in advance. But most of our tourists come with their own cars or buses. Parking facilities are abundantly available.
One of our colleagues and ex-serviceman Mr. Baburao Rane has established Rameshwar Agro Tourism Center RATC with the aim of providing accommodation to all the guests who come to our village or visit high school, as well as government officials who visit Gram Panchayat offices etc.
Facilities in RATC: There are four rooms for tourists to stay in the garden surrounded by mango and cashew trees, a self-catering house, dining hall, water system, swimming pool for swimming, open space for children to play, and a stage for events. A small Shree Sai temple is built for the devotees.
There is a cowshed (gaushala) here to introduce the village to children born and brought up in the city. Cows are reared here, cow dung is used for gas plant, dung, manure, cow urine and biochar is prepared from it. All the trees in the area use dung manure and organic matter without using chemical fertilizers. There is a garden of different flowers, there are many types of plants. Just walking around in all these surroundings makes the mind happy. Moreover, sitting on our platform, you can see the entire village area, houses, fields, orchards and our school.
