This Association of Mumbai-based villagers was formed in Jan 2011, mainly for the purpose of garnering financial support, that was required to take up the construction activity of the high school building. Accordingly Baparde-Juveshwar Gram Vikas Mandal (BJGV) has been bearing major burden of the annual expenditure of around Rs 15-20 lakh of Yashwant Rane High School, by various activities and events.
BJGV has been taken up fund raising programs in 2014, 2016, 2018, & 2022(click on the year to know more). All such Get-together events of Mumbaikar villagers are organized in Sahitya Sangh Mandir (Girgaum), or Damodar Hall (Parel) wherein drama competition of village youth groups are organized, and also dignitaries from Jaslok Hospital, Nanavati Hospital, Indo German Training Center, & many such organizations are invited to address the gathering.
