Baparde village information
Sindhudurg being a tourist attraction, the beaches of the district are commonly shown on the tourism map. Our Baparde village is situated on the costal part of Sindhudurg district. Baparde village is located about 25 km from Devgad and 55 km from Kankavali, famous for it’s scenic beauty on the Kasarde-Vijaydurg road from Mumbai to Goa National Highway No. 66.
This Baparde village has two revenue sections: Baparde + Juveshwar and 15 wadis. From 26 October 1956 Gram Panchayat of Baparde village was established with independent gram panchayat office, Talati office, Primary Health Centre, Co-operative society, Fair Price Grain Shop, Post Office. The village has asphalt roads. Recently Baparde village has been selected as the Best and most Clean Village among the entire Kokan belt of 5 districts (Thane, Palgar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, & Sindhudurg) under Gram Swachata Abhiyan
