Background:
Though the Indian Parliament has granted the Right to Education (RTE) to all Indian children, it has still remained a distance dream to many poor families, especially in the rural parts of Maharashtra.
The main reasons being:
- Maharashtra Govt. has stopped financial grants to any new schools that opened after 2011.
- Rural BPL poor families are unable to afford school fees for their wards.
- Private sector has no interest in running such remote schools (being commercially unviable).
Thus, the secondary education in rural parts of Maharashtra is left to the mercy of only social workers, philanthropists and NGOs.
Despite such lack of support from the Govt. agencies, we have to generate funds to run our High-School for Rural Poor Students in a remote village of Maharashtra’s Konkan Region.

Normally, we incur an education cost of Rs. 10,000 per year per student. However, you may sponsor his/her partial expenses, as follows:
Std. 6th & 9th = Rs. 3000/- per student / year
Std. 10t, 11th, 12th = Rs.5000/- per student / year
Either you can select a student from our list or We can allocate a needy student and his/her family background
